Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Process receipts into the cashbook.
- Manage and process petty cash, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and accurate.
- Capture and recover outstanding or due debts owed to the organisation.
- Create and distribute invoices on behalf of the organisation.
- Ensure financial administration tasks are completed accurately, including filing and scanning of invoices and related documents.
- Address and resolve queries relating to debtors.
- Provide administrative support for the tender and vendor processes.
- Assist with balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
- Assist with preparing audit schedules
- Support the compilation of creditors reconciliations.
- Maintain organised and accurate filing of financial documents.
Job Requirements
- Working knowledge of financial principles such as debtors and invoicing.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately with financial data.
- Exposure to the mining or consulting industry would be beneficial.
Qualifications
- BCom Degree or National Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
