Requirements
- An NQF Level 8 qualification in Business Administration, Public Management, Conservatio. Environment or a related field.
- Masters degree would be advantageous
- 10 years of senior leadership or executive management experience in project management, operations, or strategy within a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate knowledge of corporate governance, financial management and strategic planning coupled with advanced leadership.
- Demonstrate understanding of PFMA and other relevant legislation.
- Reporting and Planning within the Public Sector.
- Communication Skills and project management skills
- Strategic thinking, adaptability, and the ability to build and influence relationships across all levels.
- High level of professionalism and leadership.
- Independent decision-making
- Executive-level representation
Responsibilities
- Oversee the efficient and effective operation of the CEO’s office,
- Manage high priority initiatives and ensure alignment with the organization’s broader goals and strategies.
- Manage complex, time-sensitive issues while maintaining discretion, confidentiality
- Support the CEO in various operational, strategic, and administrative tasks and liaison with head office divisions.
- Responsible for the formulating or adjusting of the programmes for major functions/divisions/department.
- Advising line managers on the relevant work and policies.
- Execute policies and decisions that was formulated by the F band.
- Set business objectives and strategy the specific division.
- Allocate resources in major departments/functions/ divisions.
- Managing employees within the band.
- Budget for and manage the department
