Requirements
- Perform routine and deep cleaning of public areas such as reception area, lobbies, corridors, elevator, lounges, restrooms, conference facilities and other guest[1]accessible spaces as per workflow chart and schedule.
- Provide clear handover to colleagues on the next shift.
- Report technical and maintenance problems and perform minor maintenance tasks.
- Hand over any lost property to housekeeping management.
- Sign off daily work schedule.
- Safety, Security and legal compliance
- Use equipment as per manufacture’s specifications.
- Use chemicals according to set standards.
Responsibilities
- Grade 12 (Matric) / NCV level 4 or equivalent
- 1-2 year’s practical work experience in Public Area tourism environment.
- Working knowledge of equipment used in housekeeping.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety basics.
- Communication skills.
- Cleaning skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
