The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) invites applications for a Graduate Internship within the Student Support and Sector Engagement Unit under the Branch: University Education.

This 24-month programme offers workplace exposure and mentorship to graduates, equipping them with the skills and practical experience required to thrive in the public sector. The DHET values diversity and strongly encourages applications from people living with disabilities

Requirements

National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:

• Public Administration
• Management
• Must be unemployed and have never participated in an internship programme in the Public Service.
• Must be a South African citizen.
• Must be available for the entire internship duration.
• Applicants with foreign qualifications must have them evaluated by SAQA.
• May not have previously served as a graduate intern or contract worker in the Public Service.
