The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) is offering a Graduate Internship opportunity within the Governance Support Unit under the Branch: University Education.

This 24-month internship will provide hands-on work experience, mentorship, and professional development, helping graduates to build the skills required to succeed in the public service. DHET promotes diversity and encourages applications from people living with disabilities

Requirements

National Diploma in:

• Public Administration
• Public Management
• Must be unemployed and have never participated in an internship programme in the Public Service.
• Must be a South African citizen.
• Must be available for the full duration of the internship.
• Applicants with foreign qualifications must have them evaluated by SAQA.
• May not have previously served as a graduate intern or contract worker in the Public Service.
