Requirements
  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • NQF Level 6 in Culinary
  • 2 – 3 year’s experience in food costing and preparation
  • Communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Basic understanding of customer service principles

Responsibilities
  • Ensure and maintain the food costs at minimal as per SANParks Standard Operating Procedure
  • Ensure compliance with related legislation, standards and SANParks policies by performing periodic inspection and audits
  • Ensure timeous preparation of food as per existing meal schedules
  • Ensure that the whole food process is quality assurance before service to the customer
  • Ensure that the stock is within the department stock par levels by continuous stock levels
  • Ensure that the kitchen is clean, hygienic and all the employees are working safety by providing periodic in-house training / induction
