Requirements
- B Degree in Human Resources/Social Sciences
- At least 4–6 years of generalist HCM experience.
- Knowledge or understanding of relevant HR legislation,
- Ability to analyse HCM policies and procedures.
- Computer literacy,
- Ability to function in a matrix environment,
- Good interpersonal, Communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills,
- Leadership,
- Conflict resolution and dispute management skills,
- Diversity and change management,
- Administrative and analytical skills.
Qualifications and Experience that will provide an added advantage
- Honours or B.Tech. A degree or Post postgraduate diploma in Human Resource will be an added advantage
- Registration with relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of financial management.
- Knowledge of project management.
Responsibilities
- Partner with line management to effectively implement HCM policies and, provide professional consulting, advisory and guidance in KNP.
- Contribute to policy development and implementation thereof to ensure good governance and compliance.
- Acts as a change agent to business through process design and approaches that support change and transformation.
- Conducts ongoing supply and demand analysis with line management on current and future state staffing, skill needs and designs talent acquisition solutions to meet those needs
- Manage and coordinate the recruitment process cycle and ensure efficient turnaround time.
- Coordinate and facilitate employee performance contracting and appraisals, timely submissions, and quality assurance.
- Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions, programmes and policies.
- Provide timely information and/or education for all levels of employees on HCM issues.
- Implement the human capital management strategy and KNP Operational Plan in consultation with line management.
- Provide an efficient and effective HCM administrative service by ensuring accurate and timely HCM administrative information.
- Compile and manage the approved regional HCM budget, advise ice line management accordingly.
- Lead, manage, and develop the human capital of the HCM unit.
- Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relations.
- Works closely with line management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
