Responsibilities
  • Perform routine assessments and business improvements for operational effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Assist in integrating data from different systems and platforms.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across the organization.
  • SQL Scripting: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from relational databases, ensuring efficient data retrieval and processing.
  • Data Modelling: Develop and maintain data models and algorithms to support business objectives, including predictive modelling, forecasting, and optimization.
  • System Maintenance: Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including password resets, error corrections, and data validation checks, to ensure system reliability and performance
  • Data analysis: Collect, clean, and analyse data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic goals and initiatives.
  • Data Modelling: Develop and maintain data models and algorithms to support business objectives, including predictive modelling, forecasting, and optimization.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to effectively communicate findings and actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Extract, transform, and load financial data into databases or data warehouses.
  • Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement and automation to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and enhance data quality and reliability.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Computer literacy
  • Understanding of relevant finance policies
Please Note
  • Be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree or a diploma in a related (BSc, BCom IT or Accounting).
  • Should have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as a Financial Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role in Microsoft SQL (build SQL tables and write SQL queries).
  • Experience and knowledge of system integrations.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and statistical techniques.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and other data analysis tools.
  • Experience with ETL tools and processes.
  • Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics, SAP, Oracle)
