Requirements
  • Grade 12
  • A certificate in Food & Beverage and a Diploma in Food & Beverage will serve as an added advantage.
  • Valid Driver’s license (preferably with PDP)
  • 3 years of practical experience in Housekeeping, food, and beverage environment
  • Good communication, hygiene, and interpersonal Skills
  • Understand, write, and read in English.
  • Basic knowledge of First Aid will serve as an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a wilderness remote environment.
  • Punctual, self-disciplined, and motivated
Responsibilities
  • To ensure the control and preparation of food for guests on the trail,
  • To determine the costs of each menu to have an appropriate cost estimate. of the foodstuff served daily for budget purpose.
  • To ensure that there is sufficient linen, crockery, cutlery, and other kitchen utensils, etc. at all times.
  • To clean and maintain the cleanliness of the trail camp, ablution blocks, kitchen, and terrain in and around the trail camps.
  • To ensure that the food and linen stock is within the required stock levels by continually monitoring stock levels.
  • Adhere to daily controls of cleaning and housekeeping materials in possession.
  • Report maintenance and abnormalities and ensure it is rectified,
  • Handle lost properties in terms of standard operation procedures,
