Requirements
- BComm Business Degree or equivalent in Commerce/Finance/Tourism/Economics/Project Management.
- Desirable post-graduate degree in MBA, MCom, Legal, Finance, or related.
- Minimum 6 years relevant work experience in Project Management or Financial Management, Tourism Management and/or Socio-economic development.
- Must have excellent negotiation skills, Conflict management skills, and Communication skills.
- Knowledge of relevant and applicable legislations to business development.
- Demonstrate computer training.
- Drivers License.
- No criminal record.
Responsibilities
- To develop and manage business development projects in the region.
- To develop strategies to generate revenue from new tourism products.
- To develop and drive interventions to enhance the performance of existing products.
- To develop and evaluate business feasibility studies.
- To implement and manage Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects and contracts.
- To prepare supply chain documents for evaluation of bids for projects.
- To ensure compliance with the requirements of Treasury Regulations 16 of the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (PFMA).
- To proactively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to optimize opportunities for project success.
