Requirements

• Grade 12
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products,
• Understanding of safety and hygiene requirements,
• Basic understanding of Hospitality/ Housekeeping standards,
• Organising and self-management skills,
• Basic understanding of customer services.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• To ensure that there is sufficient linen, crockery, cutlery, and other kitchen utensils etc.,
• Responsible for controlling and issuing the required stock to the Hut Attendants.
• To ensure that the linen room is manned at all times.
• To count operating stock according to the set standards and keep records at all times.
• To efficiently issue the required operating/ equipment/ linen to hut attendants according to the set standards.
• To ensure the cleanliness of the linen room at all times.
• To ensure that the soiled linen is counted correctly, send it out for washing and receive a good order from the laundry.
• To report all linen room-related issues to the supervisor at all times.
• To perform other ad hoc tasks.
