Notice and Invitation to Serve on the Social and Ethics Committee of the Mine Health and Safety Council (MHSC)

Candidate Criteria:

• A postgraduate qualification in fields related to the work of the SEC (e.g. Economics, Finance, Health and Safety, environment, sociology, law, human resources, )
• 8 years’ public service (management level
• Experience in service in SEC
• An Ethics qualification will be an added advantage

Remuneration

SEC members will be remunerated in accordance with the rates determined by the Mine Health and Safety Council from time to time. Travelling on official duty will be reimbursed at rates determined by the Mine Health and Safety Council.

Term of Office

The term of office will be three (3) years, which is renewable depending on performance .
