Requirements
  • Be in possession of a relevant Tourism and Marketing/ Sales/ Hotel Management post-Matric qualification (NQF Level 5).
  • Have 2-3 years’ experience in Tourism /Hospitality.
  • Knowledge of customer service, telephone etiquette, and understanding the Tourism and Conservation industry is essential.
  • Computer Literacy.
  • Communication, numerical, and writing skills.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Client Orientation and Customer Focus.
  • Telephone Etiquette.
  • Basic Business Knowledge.
  • Understanding of the Tourism and Conservation industry.
  • Understanding of Reservation or Property Management System.

Responsibilities
  • Process requests and make reservation in accordance with SANParks policies and procedures.
  • Sell South African National Parks products to current and potential customers.
  • Initiate payment and ensure that relevant documentation is sent to customer / client.
  • Provide additional information and initiate cross selling and up selling of products.
  • Provide consistent and efficient service by upholding good public relations principle to inspire customer loyalty.
  • Sell SANParks products to current and potential customers.
  • Corresponding with customers telephonically and via email.
  • Process bookings, payments, and invoices using SANParks’ systems.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and provide weekly/monthly reports.
