Qualifications and experience
  • National Diploma in Supply Chain, Public Administration and governance or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 year of experience in Public Procurement.
  • Membership with Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) will be an added advantage.
  • Highly motivated and pro-active.
  • Organised with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of the SCM legislations/ regulations.
  • knowledge of bid committees
Duties/Outputs
  • Procurement of goods and services from start to completion.
  • Co-ordinate bid committee meetings.
  • Co-ordinate contracting process.
  • Record Keeping.
  • Supplier database maintenance.
  • Stakeholder engagement.
  • Writing of reports/minutes.
  • Perform ad-hoc activities as instructed by the Manager.
