Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
• Professional Certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD), and Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) can be beneficial.
• 7-10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role working in or with a public sector organisation.
• Strong leadership skills to manage teams and projects, with a proven ability to mentor and develop staff.
• Ability to develop and implement logistics and warehouse strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the public sector.
• Expertise in logistics and warehouse operations, including inventory management, distribution, and transportation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize logistics and warehouse processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders, including officials, suppliers, and team members.
• Experience in managing budgets and financial planning for logistics and warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse management.
• Managing day-to-day logistics operations and warehouse operations at Skukuza Administration Warehouse.
