This position requires an advanced diploma or a degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent qualification at NQF 7. A postgraduate qualification in Human Resources Management or equivalent qualification at NQF 8 will be an added advantage. This position also requires a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in Human Resources Management.

The following competencies are required for the candidate to be successful in this position: Personnel Salary System (PERSAL) training; extensive knowledge and experience of targeted selection interview method; extensive knowledge and experience in providing business partnering to line managers with regard to the achievement of HR strategic objectives and execution of Human Resources functions effectively and efficiently; comprehensive knowledge and understanding of financial management, project management, supply chain management, corporate governance and risk management policies, procedures, processes, systems, and frameworks will be advantageous; proven ability to work under pressure and with a diverse team, whilst being quality, cost, and safety conscious is essential; advanced planning, organizing, interpersonal, and problem solving, project and event management skills; excellent communication skills (both verbal and written); excellent computer literacy and experience in the application of software tools including (Ms Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet and Outlook) will be advantageous. The possession of a valid driver’s license with at least one year practical driving experience and a willingness to travel is essential.
