Employment Information
Key responsibility areas will include:
  • Access and administer electronic Central Supplier Database, CIDB to acquire goods and services and ensure compliance.
  • Carry out Strategic Sourcing responsibilities on High Spend Commodities.
  • Support the review and implementation of a Standard Specification document.
  • Perform evaluation of RFQ’s and compilation of evaluation packs for filing and archiving
  • Overall SLA as agreed upon with the business and delivery within turnaround times as per SLA.
  • Assist with providing requested audit information and ensure it is submitted within stipulated deadlines to AGSA.
  • Compiling of Bid Documents, from drafting a Bid Specification to the final document in line with approved Procurement Plans.
  • Draft Bid Specifications Committee (BSC) and Bid Evaluation Committee (BEC) appointment letters for CFO’s approval.
  • Engaging internal and external stakeholders on matters of importance and encouraging full participation where required.
  • Arrange SCM & Project Meetings to drive improvements and feedback.
  • Arrange supplier Workshops / Roadshows.
  • Support with applicable benchmarking with other sister organizations regarding how they carry out SCM related duties.
Core requirements:
  • An appropriate 3-year National Diploma in Supply Chain Management/ Logistics or equivalent relevant qualification
  • 1-2 years’ relevant experience in a Supply Chain environment
  • Project management experience required
  • A valid driver’s license-Code B or higher
