Requirements
  • National Diploma (NQF Level 6/7) in Information and Communication Technology: Infrastructure and User Support Management, or equivalent 
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in ICT infrastructure and user support management or ICT Helpdesk 
  • Knowledge of IT service management or ICT helpdesk experience is preferred. 
  • At least one of the following certifications: A+ or N+ or ITIL Foundation 
  • Advanced skills in M365 Office Suite (e.g. MS Word, Excel) 
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with strong communication and customer relationship skills. 
  • Capable of working independently and under pressure, adaptable, disciplined, and confident. Proficiency in writing and interpersonal communication 
Duties
  • Provide ICT helpdesk services, serving as the first point of contact, documenting incidents, classifying, and prioritizing them, and escalating unresolved issues to higher support level 
  • Co-ordinate and implement computer rollout projects to ensure seamless integration and minimal operational disruption. Provide comprehensive support for local area network (LAN) and desktop infrastructure 
  • Manage and troubleshoot a range of mobile devices, including notebooks, iPads, and tablets. 
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, maintaining documentation on activities and system performance.
