- Ability to lead, develop and nurture networks among Member States and development partners.
- Experience in processing and analysing data using one or more statistical software packages.
- Demonstrated strong management, coordination, teamwork and planning skills.
- Excellent diplomacy skills and a proven ability to establish and maintain interpersonal and professional relationships with AUDA-NEPAD, Member States and other stakeholders.
- Experience in managing organizational resources and deployment in pursuit of innovative approaches and initiatives.
- Experience in leading and supervising a diverse team and the ability to leverage limited resources and staff for maximum impact.
- Expertise in identifying and adapting best practices to specific strategic contexts.
- Ability to always maintain confidentiality at the highest level.

- High level of integrity and accountability, flexible approaches to work coupled with enthusiasm, commitment and energy.

Qualifications and experience:
A Master’s Degree in Public Policy, Business Management, Social Sciences, Economics or any other related field with at least ten (10) years of post-qualification experience in:
- Design, partnership and resource mobilization strategy and related tools and instruments.
- Proven experience in the successful development of partnerships, network building, and/or resource mobilization is required.
- Extensive experience in clearly communicating results, evidence, and issues and in conducting strategic research and policy analysis.
- Experience coordinating and liaising with government agencies, regional economic communities and development partners communities
Or
A Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Business Management, Social Sciences, Economics or any other related field with at least twelve (12) years of post-qualification experience in:
- Design, partnership and resource mobilization strategy and related tools and instruments.
- Proven experience in the successful development of partnerships, network building, and/or resource mobilization is required.
- Extensive experience in clearly communicating results, evidence, and issues and in conducting strategic research and policy analysis.
- Experience coordinating and liaising with government agencies, regional economic communities and development partners communities.
- Experience within public sector, multilateral institutions, and international non-governmental or similar organizations nationally, regionally and/or internationally.
