Requirements
- Be in possession of a National Diploma in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent
- Have 2 – 3 years of experience in a Finance environment and general ledger reconciliation.
- Be in possession of a valid driver’s license
- A working knowledge of PFMA.
- A working knowledge of National Treasury regulations.
- A working knowledge of procurement and asset management systems or practices.
- A working knowledge of the application of policies and procedures.
- A working knowledge of tools and techniques for asset verification.
- Computer literacy skills.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate the annual physical verification of assets for all the allocated areas in the Park
- Implement corporate policy and procedure on fixed assets.
- Maintain an updated fixed asset register.
- Coordinate and manage the movement of assets (acquisition, transfers, disposal, etc.).
- Coordinate and facilitate asset auctions within parks.
- Monitor and report on the Capex budget for the region.
- Implement risk management practices for asset management.
- Update the general ledger accounts for financial statements.
- Coordinate the capitalisation of asset related capital projects.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by supervisor
