Requirements
National Diploma (NQF 6) in Conservation/Policing/Information Management or equivalent thereof.
A minimum of 3 years relevant working experience.
Knowledge of the relevant legislation, NEM: Protected Areas Act, National Heritage Resources Act, NEM: Biodiversity Act, Criminal Procedure Act, Integrated Coastal Management Act, Marine Living Resources Act and the regulations promulgated there under.
Advanced computer literacy – Microsoft Office packages, database management, (working knowledge of REST API, JSON is an added advantage)
Working knowledge of ArcGIS or QGIS software (Working Knowledge of Analyst Notebook is an added advantage).
Valid code 8/10 driver’s license
Excellent verbal/written (including presentation skills and public speaking abilities) communication skills are a prerequisite.
Clear Criminal Record (candidates will be screened)
Willingness to undergo polygraph tests.
Ability to work across teams.

Responsibilities
Oversee the data capturing from various sources onto Cmore and other software platforms.
Assist with the maintenance of the information databases.
Clean, analyse, interpret and package information to support effective decision making in line with Area Integrity Management principles.
Perform the analysis of data to guide, reactive and proactive law enforcement interventions.
Ensure efficient and accurate information management.
Create and maintain information dashboards for dissemination to internal and external stakeholders.
Oversee the management of technology feeds in the Operations Room.
Support and ensure efficient operational control measures are in place, aligned to safety & security and the relevant operational plans.
Collate information for weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual reports.
Field reports and information received in the Operations Room.
Provide relevant information for Area Integrity Management reporting.
Assist with operational deployments by the SEAM Team when necessary.
Support internal and external stakeholder liaison, attend relevant meetings and contribute toward the broader landscape information consolidation.
Provide administration, procurement support and assist with internal training when required.
