Reporting to the Senior Manager: Projects, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Manage the CHE-MIS in the implementation of the internal and external operation of accreditation processes.
- Run system validation of data and corresponding AC and HEQC agendas.
- Manage the compilation of institutional profile information on the CHE-MIS.
- Provide leadership in automating site visit processes.
- Design and develop system effective and efficient procedures, practices and workflows.
- Manage the database of complaints and analyze data therein for input into the CHE-MIS.
- Support the Director and Senior Manager with regards to innovative projects relevant to Accreditation.
- Contribute to stakeholder meetings, working groups and committees, to keep abreast of relevant academic and policy developments and literature.
- Review and produce high-level system-generated reports related to accreditation processes.
- Support the Senior Manager Projects with the implementation of the relevant Committee decisions.
The successful candidate should have:
- A master’s degree, preferably in Information Systems or related field of study.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a higher education and/or quality assurance environments.
- Experience and knowledge of data management and processing is essential.
