Required Skills and Competencies
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks, including correspondence management, data management, and record-keeping.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management software.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Adaptability and capacity to handle changing priorities and unforeseen challenges in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proactive approach with initiative to support project activities and contribute to smooth implementation.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple project demands and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience providing comprehensive administrative support, such as organising meetings, coordinating logistics, and maintaining documentation.
  • Proficiency in one of the AU working languages, fluency in another AU language an added advantage.
Education and Experience:

Minimum of a High School Certificate and a College Diploma in General Administration, Developmental Studies, Office Administration, Management, Social Sciences, or a related field. Minimum of 3 (three) to five (5) experience in providing programme and administrative support in coordinating events, including logistical arrangements and stakeholder engagement, including at least two (2) years in a similar role in national, regional, international, or multinational organisations.
